Caroline Ramos

Caroline Ramos

Founder & CEO

Caroline Ramos is the Founder and CEO of Host & Keep, LLC. Inspired by her own real estate investments that she converted to short term rentals in 2019, Caroline decided to offer management services to friends and family. After learning the growth and revenue potential that could be made, Caroline decided to purchase more properties, renovate, design them and see how far she could increase their returns. All this, while working full time in the Hospitality Industry, as Director of Sales for Panache Events. After a few months, she realized the potential in front of her and started her own unique company and brand, Host & Keep. Within the first year Caroline was able to grow the company to manage a portfolio of 50 properties, all unique in some way. Interior design, concierge and overall guest experience have always been at the forefront of her brand.

Her professional background in Corporate America groomed her in the areas of expertise needed in the industry. She was a Business executive with a proven track record in creating, leading and executing strategies to generate revenue, profitability and efficiency. Her career was focused in the Marketing and Hospitality Industry for 13 years. She worked at global companies like Unilever, and Matomy Media Group, as well as hospitality companies like Party Rental where she led the marketing strategy, executing over 55,000 events every year, from the Met Gala to the US Open. She holds a real estate license in both Florida and New Jersey, initially to facilitate her own investments. Her family's Construction business exposed her to value-add real estate models from a very young age, setting the stage for this growing interest.

Caroline is design minded and goal driven with a valuable blend of business development and creativity. She is used to building successful teams and revamping entire departments within companies to align towards growth, IPO or acquisition. With an entrepreneurial mindset, pairing sales, marketing, real estate and hospitality, Caroline and her team have been able to scale Host & Keep and lead the company towards expansion with international territories in the road map.

Caroline is also inspired by Art and design, exploring bespoke home construction. She is currently building her first custom home of this kind with the architects for Ferrari cars. The project is located in Upper East Side of Miami. It has a vacation rental component in the design, to seamlessly incorporate the income generating piece without sacrificing aesthetic. The project is inspired by modern Japanese elements and Minimalism.

 

Vincent Battaglia, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Vincent is a Founding partner of Host and Keep. Prior to Host and Keep he worked in Private Equity Investments for over 10 years in New York City. He is a licensed CPA with a background in both private and public accounting at KPMG, Lehman Brothers and Clarion Partners. His focus has been in the real estate vertical and he has been a Superhost for 4 years. He is a seasoned Realtor, investor and lender. Vincent Holds an MBA from Pace University in New York City.

 

Erica

Operations & Bookings Manager

As a contributor to the Operations Team, Erica’s multi-disciplinary approach can tackle any complex situation or problem.  Ambitious and goal orientated, Erica has gained an array of experience over the years, not only during her studies but also during her previous forays into event production, project management, and property management. A passion for vacation rental management and investment emerged, which she is now happily pursuing at Host and Keep. 

Erica graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri with a dual degree in International Business and Anthropology. Shortly after graduating, she turned in her winter boots for flip flops and returned to her hometown of Ft. Lauderdale. She is a licensed Community Association Manager.

Outside of work, Erica loves to travel and explore everything culinary. She loves finding new recipes to cook at home, is fueled by caffeine, and spends as much time as she can in the South Florida’s burgeoning restaurant scene with fur baby in tote.


 

Yvette

Field Manager

After many years of being a personal assistant to various CEOs in the e-comm and tech world, Yvette entered the world of Hospitality to explore her passions for helping others and in doing so she is now accommodating experiences, stays and travel in the Miami area. Yvette focuses on our South Miami territories and oversees all guest and property matters to ensure all runs smoothly for both our clients and guests. She loves to travel and appreciates feeling like a local when she does, which is why her passion for short term rentals comes to life at Host and Keep.

 

Jafet

Inspector

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, their Hispanic heritage has deeply shaped their worldview. An avid food enthusiast, they take great pleasure in the art of culinary discovery, and they cherish the opportunity to guide guests to hidden gems throughout the city.

Their journey in the world of hospitality has led them from the front lines of customer service to managerial roles overseeing complex operations. From their time at First Service Residential to their managerial responsibilities and oversight of company operations, they demonstrate exceptional skill in maintaining smooth and efficient experiences for both guests and hosts, combining their expertise in maintenance and inspection with a sharp attention to detail.

With a steadfast commitment to excellence and a passion for tackling new challenges, they are devoted to ensuring every experience is memorable and enjoyable.

With a deep-seated passion for property maintenance, Erick finds joy in ensuring that spaces are not just well-kept, but also enhanced for both functionality and aesthetics. Through meticulous care and attention to detail, his mission is to create environments that leave a lasting, positive impression.

Guest Service Supervisor

Meet Carmela, our hospitality rockstar with over 5 years of experience! She's a pro at crafting amazing guest experiences, handling inquiries, and solving problems with flair. With top-notch communication skills, she juggles reservations and collaborates across departments like a champ. Plus, her 3 years with Airbnb add extra sparkle to her versatile skill set!

Guest Service Supervisor

Meet Paul, our customer service dynamo at Host & Keep, with 10 years of experience and a passion for wowing guests in the world of short-term rentals. As an Airbnb Property Manager extraordinaire, he’s got a talent for keeping guests thrilled.

Paul keeps everything running smoothly—managing reservations, coordinating cleanings, and handling guest communications with ease. His tech-savvy skills and top-notch communication keep everyone in the loop and smiling.
