This is a great place to stay. Caroline was very responsive and the yard is beautiful. House is very quiet and peaceful. Have stayed here twice and my friends have stayed here as well. Will always recommend this place.

This was a fantastic place to stay. I enjoyed the location, the level of privacy along with the large gated yard that made us feel secure and helped us forget where we were. The highlight of this property is the peaceful yard, the dragon flies and lizards keep the mosquitos at bay during the day, there’s lizard and butterflies everywhere and the light up pool and soft carpet like grass are huge contributors to how much we enjoyed this location . Hiiiiiighly recommended, especially if you’re going with a close group of friends or family .

We stayed here for our wedding, and it was truly unforgettable! The landscaping was absolutely immaculate and breathtaking. We got some of the most EPIC wedding photos of our entire lives here, the property is seriously stunning and made the perfect backdrop for such a special day. The hosts were amazing from start to finish: incredibly responsive, sweet, and genuinely wonderful to work with. They even gifted me flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch! 🤍 The interior has a beautiful antique design with so much charm and character. I would stay here a million more times for the peace, quiet, beauty, and overall experience. This place will always hold such a special memory for us. Absolutely recommend!

When booking a lot of the times the pictures are not quite what the place actually looks like. HOWEVER this place was above and beyond! Pictures could not do justice! It was absolutely stunning, it felt homely, and could not of ask for a better stay!

Great little escape just outside the Everglades 😎 We had a really relaxing stay at The Garden House. The place was spotless, quiet, and exactly as advertised – a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery. Perfect if you’re visiting Everglades National Park, Biscayne, or just need a break from Miami. The house had everything we needed: comfy beds fast Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen, and great outdoor space with a stunning pool area to sit in the evening. AC worked perfectly, which is a must in Florida! Caroline was a friendly and responsive host who made check-in easy. Location is ideal if you want to be close to nature without being isolated. 15 min to Homestead, 30 min to the Everglades entrance, and easy drive to the Keys.

Very comfortable home.

The house was clean enough. The location was great, because we visited the National parks and Key Largo. We were not able to use the pool because it was February and pool temps were quite chilly. We were hoping to use the hot tub which is also unheated (this was not clear in the listing) and the only part that truly disappointed us with the house. The furniture is not great, outdoor furniture

I booked this space for a group of friends visiting Homestead for my wedding weekend. We found the home cozy, private, clean, and beautiful. The host was communicative; check-in/check-out was simple and easy. Strongly recommend this space for a Homestead stay; the backyard and pool alone makes the booking worth it. Absolutely gorgeous.

An AirBNB with my dream yard! Resort quality but all to ourselves!

We had a great stay. We were a little disappointed to find the board games were missing pieces, or just not there at all. But the house was clean, and the amenities were exactly what we were hoping for. Very relaxing.

If you are ever in the homestead area this is the place to stay.🤍 The house is very spacious, we enjoyed watching movies, playing games and of course the pool. Caroline was very attentive and responded very quickly , we had booked a previous place but they never approved our stay.🤷‍♀️We were 2 hrs away from getting to the town🫠 I was so stressed out but when I saw this place , I messaged Caroline she immediately answered and pre approved the stay. 🙂 So I’m happy to say this was the place we needed to stay at and we are glad we did. Thank you so much for everything ,my family and I are very grateful 🤍 and as I said if I’m ever in town again we will most definitely stay here again! 😊

This place is absolutely amazing, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The property is full of wildlife and beautiful plants. It is a perfect place for relaxing in a quiet, well-maintained area. The pool was wonderful on the hot days. Caroline was quick to respond and very helpful. I would love to be her guest again.

The backyard area with the pool was very tranquil, just as it was pictured. The outdoor space is magical and felt private. The indoor space in the home was serviceable. The linens were clean. The wifi worked well. We could have used more kitchen supplies such as paper towels, dishwasher pods, and serving dishes. We also needed more toilet paper than what was provided by the host and had to buy our own. We were 5 guests in total. The host was responsive and communicated promptly but was unwilling to provide more paper goods when we needed them.

A beautiful little paradise. The swimming pool was perfect for those hot days. This house was the perfect location for exploring the national parks as well, about a 30 minute drive to 3 different entrances for 2 national parks. The owner was very helpful with our questions. Would definitely rent again if we make it back to Homestead with our family.

Beautiful house, very spacious yard with great amenities including an incredible pool. All rooms were clean and plenty of towels and supplies to last us the long weekend we spent here. I would be very happy to stay again. One of the couches had some issues so we were worried about using it but otherwise there was plenty of space for us to use/sleep

As a resident of Homestead myself found this place beautiful & serene. You wouldn’t be able to tell you were in a neighborhood. We rented to end our family vacation – just hanging out enjoyed the gorgeous pool! Thank you again had an amazing time !

This place was truly wonderful! It felt like a home away from home. The beds were so comfortable, and the entire home was impeccably clean. We also really enjoyed the beautiful yard and pool.

We had the best stay over spring break with an eight-year-old boy who loves all the critters! The backyard was wonderful to come back to in the evening after a day of exploring the Everglades or Biscayne national Park!

Laat ik positief beginnen; De tuin is werkelijk prachtig! Het huis is mooi en ruim. Het zwembad is heerlijk. Punten van aandacht; De bedden! Wij hadden verschillende negatieve reviews gelezen over de bedden. Ik vroeg Caroline er naar en ze zei dat er niets mis was met de bedden. Nou helaas, het was drama! De twee eenpersoonsbedden kraakten zo hard dat je er wakker van werd en de matrassen zijn zeer slecht. Het erg hoge tweepersoonsbed was zo wankel dat mijn man er niet in durfde te gaan liggen omdat hij bang was het kapot te maken. Het andere tweepersoonsbed kraakte ook heel erg. Dus: hou je van slapen, dan is dit niet je huis! De straal water uit beide douches is zo zwak dat ik moeite had met het wassen van mijn lange haar. Bij aankomst was het zwembad erg vies. Wij hadden dit huis mede daarom uitgekozen dus baalde hier van. Caroline heeft dit meteen proberen op te lossen door de dag erna hier iemand voor te laten komen. Dat was erg fijn.

Caroline was wonderful! She was responsive and always willing to help out with what we needed. The grounds were even more incredible than the pictures! It was like an oasis of beautiful trees, birds, a pool and the most incredible grass to sink your toes in to!

We highly recommend this property. Our extended family met here for a vacation to the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. It is conveniently located near both and within 10 minutes of plenty of restaurants, food trucks, and grocery stores. The yard was the most enjoyable – lovely garden and pool.

The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful! We renewed our vows with a local Pastor, taking place in front of the pool, giving us memories that will always be cherished! The house is awesome with the layout and decor, it is so lovely! It was a really special time and experience! Caroline, the manager, was great to deal with and right there at your beck and call to help in any way she could! We would definitely come back!!! Our stay was over Thanksgiving, from Sat., Nov. 23rd to Sat., Nov 30th. Our anniversary was on Thanksgiving day, the same as it was 50 years ago! 🙂

Although the house was charming, the beds in each room were far from comfortable. The twin beds had cheap plastic like mattresses that noisy with every motion. The guesthouse bed was like a marshmallow on top of not knowing it was detached with no bathroom, smelled like a cheap hotel,all musty. The bed in the master was so high off the ground I had a ridiculous time getting in, also the bedframe was so wobbly. I guess my father didn’t complain about his bed so 3 out of were bad. The pool spa would not heat. There was a warning that if left on for more than an hour an alarm would go off. After an hour it was still as cold as when started. So there goes the relaxing soak we were looking forward to. Other than the quaintness of the house I would not recommend this listing to anyone who likes sleeping.

The home was exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable, and we had all of the amenities we needed to feel at home. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The pool was clean, and the entire yard was a paradise. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

At first sight the property is beautiful. The house is really nice and the yard is gorgeous. However, the owner needs to invest in more comfortable indoor living room furniture and outdoor furniture. The living room furniture was filthy dirty and the love seat had a cover over it and underneath was just like foam and the arm of the seat was wobbling. It appeared as if this furniture was found on the side of the road as garbage. The outdoor seating was mostly rusted wire chairs. The hosts property descriptions weren’t all accurate. They say there is 4 bedrooms but there is only 3 in the house. They have a bed outside in the pool house. There is not a tv in the bedroom with the bunk beds, like they described. You should also know the pool was dirty and the hot tub does not heat up very well. We booked the house for 6 days and complained on day 2 that the hot tub was only getting to 86 degrees instead of 104. We kept getting excuses and even lied to saying a pool tech showed up on day 4 and said it was working. I requested a discount for our stay and then they finally came the next day to fix it. However, it only got as hot as bath water. Make sure to bring Keurig’s, they didn’t have a full size coffee maker or an insert to use grounds. You should also know that the owner has a security camera facing the pool and hot tub. Finally, they have rules as to how long you can heat the hot tub before an alarm goes off. That was a lie, there was no alarm. The house air was limited to 70.

This house and property are a hidden treasure. Very lush landscaping – a true oasis in the middle of a normal residential neighborhood. The pool was stunning – we spent so much time swimming! Around every corner in the back yard was another focal point – little ponds and fountains. Just gorgeous! The house itself was beautifully updated – great views out the back sliding doors. The bathrooms were very nice. I loved the large dining table – we gathered around it several times a day! There are also a ton of convenient restaurants and stores near by. We ordered food in – why would we leave such a beautiful place to go sit at a restaurant? Communication is with a property manager, not the owner – I found that a bit confusing, but it all worked out. If I ever needed to be in Homestead again (perhaps another wedding at Secret Gardens?) I would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful yard! Better than the pictures! The pool and hot tub were 5 star. The house was open, airy and very clean… the perfect place to relax and visit with family during my daughter’s wedding weekend.

Such a fun house to stay at. Close to Miami and the Keys. Homestead isn’t the best of cities stay in, but the house is secluded and it feels like you’re on your own island while at the house.

I recently had a beautiful stay at this location. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing, with stunning landscaping, an outdoor shower, and a breathtaking pond. However, there were a few issues that need addressing. Upon arrival, I found that two bed frames were broken. Although the host promptly called a maintenance technician, the issue could not be resolved due to no missing screws. Unfortunately, the second bed collapsed on the right side, which was particularly disappointing given that the host was aware of this problem prior to my arrival but had not resolved it properly. This issue should have been fixed before my arrival, and I strongly recommend that the host replace both bed frames as this is a safety concern. Additionally, the hot tub was not functioning, and the hot water pressure in the showers was very low. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here. And checking out a local smoothie truck called Juice Brews . Delicious fresh smoothies and juices!

My wife and I drove down to Miami from Ohio and met our adult kids who flew in from Colorado. We all four greatly enjoyed staying at Caroline’s place. The pool was very nice and clean! The landscaping was amazing! Even though it is in the middle of a town, you think you are by yourself in the country. The location was very convenient to the Everglades, Keys, and Biscayne National Park so was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We loved this place! From the gate, to the brick driveway, to the pool, to the sheets that smelled wonderful, and the modernness yet more unique. It was a true relaxing oasis! The pool was amazing. Truly what we needed! Lizards were everywhere and that made it even better. Outdoor shower! Just perfect. Thanks again!

Positive: Wirklich sehr schöne Außenanlage, gepflegter Garten, gibt viel zu entdecken. Toller Pool, wenn auch das Spa wirklich sehr lange braucht um aufzuheizen, circa eineinhalb Stunden lang, Whirlfunktion gab es auch nicht. Für die acht Personen im Haus gibt es genau zwei Gartenliegen. Negative: Älteres Haus, in dem es gleich beim betreten, sehr muffig und modrig gerochen hat. Die Möbel vor allem im Wohnzimmer sind sehr abgewohnt, fleckig, auf dem Sofa sitzt man fast am Boden, so durchgesessen ist es. Im Haus befinden sich drei Schlafzimmer, in einem Schlafzimmer stand ein Bett, das total instabil war und sehr gewackelt hat. Wir hatten jede Nacht Angst, dass es zusammenbricht. Das Bad on suite ist ganz okay, das andere Bad allerdings hat ein Fenster in der Dusche von welchem man direkt bis auf die Straße schauen kann. Man kann dort nur ohne jeglichen Sichtschutz duschen. Wenn auch ein paar Äste davor sind, ist einem nicht sehr wohl beim duschen. Des Weiteren fehlen jegliche Verdunklungsrolläden. In der Hausbeschreibung wird auch nirgends erwähnt, dass eines der Schlafzimmer nicht im Haus ist, sondern außerhalb. Dort befindet sich auch kein Bad, so dass man nachts durch den dunklen Garten ins Haus gehen muss. Für uns acht Personen gab es sechs Stühle zum Essen am Esstisch, es gab sechs große Teller und sechs kleine Teller. Die jeweils zwei anderen hatten Pech gehabt. Am aller schlimmsten ist wirklich die Ausstattung der Küche. Es gibt weder Schüsseln noch Bretter zum schneiden. Dosenöffner war kaputt. Der Grill funktioniert auch nicht. Kochen war dort quasi unmöglich, gerade für so viele Personen. Geschirrtücher waren auch nicht da. Aus dem Abfluss kamen Fliegen. Also, trotz der tollen Außenanlagen können wir dieses Haus wirklich nicht empfehlen.

Caroline was very attentive and quick to respond whenever I had a question. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!

Positive: I liked the location for what we were there for. I liked the yard landscaping, it was beautiful. The weather was too cold to use the pool while we were there. The house is very clean. The beds in the main house consist of two queen beds ( in two separate rooms) and the third bedroom in the main house has two single beds. The sheets are nice, the mattresses are nice and the pillows are fine. Negative: The kitchen is lacking some basic cooking utensils,(a colander, a proper cutting board, and knives to cut up vegetables and fruit). It needs a new coffee machine, the current one is a mini pot good for two cups and leaks when you pour. The Master bathroom needs hooks and/or a towel rack to hang towels, it currently has neither. The house is listed as The Garden Hot tub pool Oasis however there was no way to turn the hot tub on, after contacting the management company we got a clicker on our third night there out of four nights but the hot tub never got very warm and it took over an hour to heat up to its max of 102 degrees, disappointing. The fourth bedroom is in a separate building with no toilet so if someone stayed in the pool house they would have to walk to the house to use the toilet. It has an outside shower which is nice if it's warm but if it's cold it's of no use.

The first Airbnb I have ever stayed at that felt so much like home that I wish it was for sale! 😀 Stunning property, perfectly quiet (especially at night), immaculately clean and well-maintained. Very fresh, peaceful, serene. Outdoor space is amazing and feels like an estate in the Hamptons. Nice safe neighborhood, especially for Miami. Thanks, and I look forward to returning!

Positive: The garden was awesome. It was nice to sit and relax surrounded by palm trees and all other green plants . The house was big enough for our group of five. Negative: The house is a little bit out of date and needs some wall painting and kitchen renovation. The kitchen is not well equipped with cutlery and dishes. We like to cook basic meals but we didn't even have a bowl for salad. The hot tub in the garden didn't work well. Only the first day the temperature was nice and hot, other days it was a problem with heating the water.

House and room are very nice. Just wish have coffee in the house…

A beautiful spot! We chose this place so we could visit both the Everglades and Biscayne Bay National Parks. It was the perfect distant between them, and provided a relaxing refuge for the rest of the time. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous!

The house is in a lovely compound that is quiet, spacious and well manicured. The house itself is nice and the pictures are mostly representative of the space. We were comfortable. -One of the queen beds is very high – that it needs the provided step stool to get up on (& I’m 5’7). There are normal height beds elsewhere, but if a child or elderly person needs to sleep in the bed, it wouldn’t work. -The washer didn’t work. We were told it would be repaired during our stay and it wasn’t. I hope it is for future stays as a washer is a critical search characteristic we select for. -The biggest thing to note is that the kitchen is sparsely appointed. It has the absolute bare minimum to say it is appointe, but it really isn’t to cook anything beyond cereal. For ex, no colander, no measuring cups, no serving bowls or other key items. The host was very responsive and did eventually get us some baking pans, but that wasnt enough to cook. My recommendation is the kitchen be stocked more.

Great place to relax

The outdoor area is beautiful. The house itself was a bit sparse but we didn’t spend a lot of time there except to sleep. I’d stay there again.

Was peaceful setting, relaxing. Parking was interesting. We have mentioned the place and shown pictures to several people, we would rent it again if needed. It is so close to our daughter we could walk if we felt so inclined. If one has trouble with steps I would not recommend as there are no rails and no hand rails in shower. All in all, a beautiful place and very well maintained.

This place is as described, an oasis. The garden and pool are gorgeous. I gave a couple of suggestions to the host to help the inside of the property match the exterior – then it will be a 5 + star.

Did not enjoy my stay here. Came for a family vacation which turned into a nightmare. First the property looked very nice and open and fairly clean but that is where the compliments end. when communicating through the app it is not the property owner it appears to be a representative. The property has an electronic gate with a clicker that sometimes works. The backyard has a fruit/berry tree that attracts many flies to the grill/ deck/ guest room/ parking area. The trash cans are located at the furthest point of the property which means throwing trash away at night is very inconvenient. During our stay the power went out and I had no lights or AC during a heat wave for 4 hours. Master bedroom bed requires a stool to hop onto the most uncomfortable queen sized mattress. The living room sofa has a pull out bed with a dirty and thin mattress. We ended up leaving early and staying at a hotel which was more clean, convenient, and less expensive. Given my experience I would not recommend.

This house was amazing. Staying here allowed for us to have many day trips. We traveled to the Everglades, 45 mins, Key Largo 45 mins and even to Key West, 3 hours. We spent several days in Homestead too exploring the town, attended Restoration Church, ate a local restaurant and enjoyed the movies at Showbiz theater. The pool was beautiful and the yard too. Seemed very private and even had a gate as we came and went. Caroline was very kind and helpful anytime we had a question.

The house great and the back yard with the pool amazing even more beautiful then pictures, Caroline was on line always, but the guest house was smell of dampness and mold with bacteria on the vent of the air flow , I mentioned to the owner that after couple nights there I start to cough from no where she declined and by the picture that I sent here she doesn’t see any thing , the fact that she live next door but didn’t come to check and didn’t believe to video and pictures was upset , I was worry about my self and my son so we didn’t sleep there all the vacation, the second fact that was upset it’s that she charge 350$ more then everyone around for cleaning like 150$ more the average house in the area , and then after you book the property she ask 150$ fee more for the pet , I was feel like I was paid twice, and the fact that she charge so much and there is coming one cleaning lady I never gonna believe that she pay here 350$ for cleaning, when you still can find under the sofa snacks

This place was a fantastic spot for a small group or family with children. Very relaxing and private; the pool and outdoor space was especially fantastic.

The Garden House was a great spot for our family and teens. After a day in the Florida sun, it was so nice to jump in the pool. The yard itself is amazing. So many lizards and even a huge toad. Huge kitchen for making meals and plenty of space for all.

The house was very nice with an amazing backyard, perfect for our family reunion. The host was accommodating and responsive. The owners dog stopped by a few times which was a nice surprise.

This place had a beautiful garden and pool. It was definitely a relaxing setting to spend a vacation at. If you are opting to not get the private chef, be prepared because the kitchen does not have many cooking supplies. The wifi kept cutting out for everyone in my family but we spent time playing the many games left in the house by the owners. Overall the home is very nice but there are a few things to consider before planning your vacation.

Pero estando allí nos vieron por las cámaras y al día siguiente después del check in me estaban cobrando 150$ extra por el perrito Afuera muy lindo, aunque unas iguanas vinieron a defecar en el borde de la piscina y avise 1 día antes pero no nos dieron solución, solo cuando les pedí en la mañana 8am si podían limpiar antes de mi check out a las 11 para disfrutar, me advirtieron que si me quedaba unos minutos mas tendría que pagar adicional …cero humanidad sólo buscando el momento para ganar más! Incómodo! La mesa de tv era filosa y destrozada por un perro y cuando mi bebe de 1 año paso se ralló toda la espalda, la Fría respuesta cuando les pedí el botiquín después de 2 horas que era responsabilidad de los padres y nunca habían dicho que era apta para bebés. Solo ven el signo $ y no cambian una mesa de 200$ la mitad que cobran una noche ! Les falta amor con sus visitantes ! No solo negócio ! Y money

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Homestead. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders toll war der große Pool im Garten. Alles war sehr liebevoll angelegt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder laut Urlaub machen.

What gorgeous outdoor space!! Even better than the photos and maintained beautifully. It was easy to enjoy the outdoors from inside as well, thanks to all the windows. Caroline was incredibly responsive in addressing our issues and she is a great communicator.

Wow, this place was great. We stayed with our three kids (all under 6 years) and we could walk to the lake as well as restaurants and cafés. There is even a little café/bagel spot/wine bar right down the street, which was quite convenient. The pool and outdoor area was also great. The kitchen was really well stocked, and it was a lovely space to come home to at the end of a hot day and cook a meal together. We plan on trying to come back here for our next visit. Also – check out the Orlando Science Center if you travel with youngsters, it was really amazing!

Positive: Sehr schöner Garten mit grossem Pool und in jeder Ecke kann man neue Dinge entdecken wie einen kleinen Wasserfall und eine Aussendusche Negative: wir hätten gerne einen Vorhang vor dem Fenster im rechten Bad gehabt, man kann von der Strasse aufgrund der Pflanzen nicht richtig reingucken, aber man würde sich wohler fühlen Ein Vorhang zum Verdunkeln im Schlafraum wäre auch toll

The place is spotless! Very clean and comfortable. The grounds are well kept and screens on the sliding doors keep critters out.

The house was cozy and very clean. The living room and dining room were perfect for a family. The kitchen was equipped with the items needed for making a meal. The bedrooms were comfortable. One of the bedrooms has an extremely high bed that is difficult to climb on. It needs steps so you can get up easily. The backyard is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. All of the doors in the house are glass, so are the windows and sliding glass doors. The sliding glass doors to the backyard do have curtains. The one bedroom has glass windows with no blinds or shades, only see thru curtains. It does not feel private.You can see into the house from all angles. There are only 2 bedrooms and one bathroom with blinds. In the one bathroom there’s no privacy. You’re visible to the street while you shower. There’s a very nice and cozy cabana-like structure outside of the house which we did not use because it does not have a bathroom. Window coverings would make it perfec

Had an amazing stay over a big golf event up the road, and enjoyed the amenities offered. Out door shower was a great change of pace after a long day in the sun. Everything is a short distance from this location and is great to relax as well at the pool at night looking at the clear night sky.

Great home for a group trip! My girlfriends and I wanted to visit the Everglades and homestead was the perfect place to stay for day trips to the various sights in the park. The house is great itself for just hanging out, large living and dining space. The bedrooms were clean with plenty of linens. The pool was incredible (wished we had more time and better weather to enjoy it). We hope to be back again in the future!

Extremely helpful, kind and attentive. Location has Wi-Fi, nice size pool & hot tub. Plenty of space for the family, and the outdoor shower adds a nice touch. Overall great stay and Will definitely book again! Beautiful location! Thanks C!

We had a great time in this house. The backyard is huge and holds the greatest pool. Our kids loved it and did not want to leave. The location is very convenient to reach the Everglades. House is large, well furnished and very pleasant. One of our best stays ever. Pictures do depict the location accurately. Very much recommend staying here!

We had an amazing time this past weekend! We got a tropical storm during our stay and Caroline and Yvette were so quick to respond whenever we needed something or had a question. The house was clean, well kept, and the backyard is absolutely beautiful! The sun came out on our last couple of day and had some time to enjoy the pool.

This property is one of the best places I’ve stayed. The home is exactly like the pictures depict; the space is well lit with natural sunlight and the pool is stunning. Great hosts, any questions were answered within minutes and it was so nice to know the owners were next door if we needed anything. About 35-40 minutes from Miami airport and the drive is pretty easy going. Overall 5 stars!
