Our family of four recently stayed for 8 nights at The Castle. We had a great time. The check in process was very simple, the Security guard was expecting us and provided the key, the house was easy to find and easy to get into. The house was exceptionally clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The house was spotless and the two level AC was much appreciated. We enjoyed the house immensely and would return if we were staying in the area again. We walked over to the pool and beach at the hotel a couple of times. We had a rental car and explored the area. Vincent gave us some good recommendations, and was very quick and helpful when I had a couple of questions. The neighbours were friendly, although we didn’t see too many people as this is a quiet area. Overall, a top property in a top location, with a great host.

Villa Castillo is set in a private, gated community along the Placencia lagoon. The villa is very large and open. The villa consists of two large decks that wrap around the house facing the beautiful views of the lagoon. There is plenty of space forca large family or a few couples to spread out and be comfortable. I usually have to go sone work while on vacation and upstairs office was perfect for me to work. While staying at the Villa you have access to the Placencia Resort with is within walking distance. We enjoyed the restaurant called the Pier. The food was exceptional and the night walk to the restaurant was fantastic. I workout every morning and the gym was small but well kept with workout towles available. Equipment was a combination of walking machinery mixed with kettlebells and a variety of dumbells. The pool is excellent consisting of a swimmip bar and large pool below and a warmer pool uptop wich is not as deep perfect for the kiddo’s or to warm up if you get chilly. Great place plenty of room and spectacular views overlooking the lagoon. Gared community with gate guard 24-7. We loved it.

We had a great time in Placencia. The place was perfect for our needs - spacious, comfy, clean linens, and had all the amenities we needed. It was nice to walk to the resort and have access to the pool and restaurant. Vincent was responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed and to make recommendations. The house is a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall a great stay in Belize!

This was a beautiful home overlooking the sea. I cannot say enough about it. We found it to be just what we wanted and more! It is in a gated community and close to restaurants and excursions. It is a large home- we could’ve taken friends! If we had questions (and we did) the owner was quick to answer and resolve. I am already thinking I’d like to book this particular home every year!

Stay Was good, property was very nice. Had issues with clothes dryer. There were no instructions at property. So had issues on how things worked at house. But property was good and everything and staff at the Placencia Resort was excellent

We enjoyed our stay in Belize so much. This house was beautiful and worked really well for our needs. Location was great. The views were so nice. Morning coffee on the patio was awesome.

My daughter senior/graduation gift was to go to her Grandmother's Home!! This place was AMAZING !!! I would definitely rebook. pros The view is breathtaking, great patio for yoga and morning coffee/tea. when I finally figured out how to use the coffee machine lol. ...cons, it would of be helpful to know how to work things in the home ex. living room t.v, coffee machine, and jetted tub. rooms were small;looks bigger in pictures. Other than those small things. Our stay was great. Thank you for making our first visit Amazing.

Favorite part was the amenities! Could walk right across street for access to the resort, beautiful pool, bar, beach, all hassle-free. The kids loved it. I travelled with my husband and two kids ages 11 and 13.
Vincent was there to greet us upon arrival to provide a tour of the property which I thought was really nice. Place was clean, more than enough space for my clan, beautiful, and private. Really enjoyed the waterfront view and patio seating. The breeze added to the awesome sunset views! Refrigerator had a few snacks. Touched base on a couple items to be fixed and he’s extremely responsive. I think the floor plan is great for families with older kids or adults since the 2 queen rooms are on the 1st floor and master king on the middle floor with kitchen. Neighbors are nice and everyone was friendly. Overall, enjoyed my stay and would come back again 🙂

Our stay at the Castle was lovely - it was spotlessly clean and really well furbished; with comfortable beds and all the kitchen amenities you would expect. Vincent's communication about the place was excellent. The residence is about a 10 min walk from the resort itself, which can be tough dragging luggage as pick up and drop off from the shuttle is at the resort. But, you can rent a golf cart! The house was roomy, and the AC was nice and cold for our stay. The resort is low-key and lovely (but about to be bought by a large hotel chain so expect changes) with decent food and drink options. We didn't realize that the resort and residence were so far from the action down in Plancencia - it is a $25 one way cab ride and a number of times cab drivers got lost trying to find the residence so be aware of that with your timing. We did leverage the concierge at the resort for a diving day and a sunset tour of the lagoon on a pontoon boat - both great outings! Highly recommend this place!

Placencia Belize is lovely. The beautiful castle met our expectations , and Vincent & the owner responded to our request. In addition, we had an opportunity to meet great neighbors and enjoy the property. The pool, resturant and living quarters was the perfect place for our family to re-connect & spend quality time. Thank you. We will be back.

I had a a wonderful time at Villa Castello with my family. The home is way more beautiful than the pictures, so we were pleasantly surprised. The back terrace is divine and overlooks the lagoon which has very pretty sunsets. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The large filtered water dispenser was a nice touch. I worked during my stay so the office space was a great bonus, and came with great views from the top tower of the home! The hotel resort access is directly across the street from the home. It’s a great perk to have access to those amenities whenever you want! The pool was very large and even had a swim up bar! We will be back next year needless to say.
