Positive:
The location is great.
Negative:
Unfortunately our booking was cancelled by the host 2 hours after we were supposed to check in. We had originally asked for an early checkin but that wasn’t possible because they told us they had people checking out that morning. This is totally understandable and has no bearing on my overall score. However, we arrived in the lobby at 3.30 for the 4pm scheduled check in. We were told it was necessary for someone from the host company to meet us in the lobby to check us in. We were then told that the unit would not be ready until 5pm as remedial works were being undertaken (not that someone had stayed the night before?) We were not happy with this however we waited in the lobby. I asked what remedial works were being undertaken and was told a new floor in the bathroom and painting. I was also told the unit would not be ready until 6pm as they were bringing in furniture. I was not happy with this and told them I could look for somewhere else to stay. In the meantime, my husband went to the unit to see what was happening and there was a decorater there repainting the walls and hanging the tv back on the wall. The room had very strong paint odors and would not have been suitable for occupation that night. The supervisor then called me back and said she had cancelled the booking. We wasted hours waiting for a unit that quite clearly was not ever going to be ready for occupation that night. Totally unacceptable. Although we received a full refund and were able to find somewhere else to stay (much more expensive as it was Grand Prix weekend in Miami and obviously short notice) we felt this was totally unfair to us and that the host could have told us at 10.30am when we first called that the room was not going to be usable that day.

Very nice neighborhood. Great restaurants and places to visit. Place was nice but not well maintained and the AC did not function. Still a lovely place

My Parents flight got cancelled last minute leaving them stranded in Miami; every hotel was sold out or over priced. We were able to book last minute with Vincent and he was very accommodating. My wife and I were able to get my parents checked in within an hour of the MIA chaos and they loved the surrounding area. They were able to walk to nearby restaurants and take a trolley around Miami. The condo made them feel right at home!

Location is key and Vincent’s place at The Mutiny is in a great location!!! Walk to the Marina, parks, and downtown Coconut Grove in minutes.
Although the building is dated, it’s clean, comfortable, staff is helpful and friendly, it’s got valet or a parking space which makes it very convenient.
Vincent was very responsive to our needs.
The Mexican restaurant in the lobby “La Placita” offers delicious tacos and Margaritas.
We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, but the unit is far below Airbnb standards. The photos don’t match what you walk into, the photos are clearly edited. The space is very outdated, the bathroom has cracked tiles and over gross motel feeling, and the floors are cracked. Guest snacks were expired and opened, and the robes/amenities shown in the photos weren’t there. Loud daytime construction and only one working elevator made the stay even more uncomfortable. Needs a full update.

Localização maravilhosa em Coconut Grove, com área ótima para caminhada, vista para a marina e parques por perto — ideal para quem gosta de atividade ao ar livre.
O apartamento é confortável, bem equipado e exatamente como nas fotos. Restaurantes, cafés e um shopping ficam muito próximos, o que facilita muito a rotina.
Check-in fácil e comunicação rápida.
Voltaria, com certeza.
Negative:
Nada que atrapalhasse a estadia. Apenas uma sugestão: adicionar uma tábua de corte poderia ajudar quem cozinha no apartamento.

Vincent is a very good host. Responsive and helpful. The location is excellent for walking to waterfront and restaurants. The unit is fine except for the bathroom. It is very dated and has many stains in the grout on floor, sink and bathtub. While it was not dirty the stains just gave a feeling of unkept. A bathroom refurbishment is recommended and then this would be a much nicer unit.

Negative:
Host staff was not there to meet me as required by property policy. No show. Called host, who initially asked me to wait and said someone would be there within an hour. Keep in mind that I notified the host in advance as to what time I would be there.. .
After several more calls, got a call back from someone who said the key would be under the fire extinguisher outside front door of unit...
Would have been okay with that even after waiting, except they told me that I had to pay $35 a night for valet parking, when in reality, parking is free at that property as long as you park yourself on certain garage floors. After calling host again, I asked for a refund on my booking, unless she was able to help me with the parking or shed light on what the policies were. Her direct response to me was that she would be happy to send me a "parking spot finder app" that would guide me to open street parking spots in the surrounding neighborhood....
If you know Coconut Grove, you know this is laughable,
The host owner didn't care that I would be circling the block. Looking for parking for a while, and then have to hump all my luggage for whatever distance that parking spot was back to the hotel property, etc
At this point I demanded a refund, and the owner refused, claiming that it was too late to reverse the booking, and that my only recourse was to interact with the host company.
I hung up and made other arrangements for accommodation.
In fact, I ended up staying at the same property but in a room rented by the property itself, as it was late and it wasn't worth driving around at night for another place when I had business obligations the next day.
It was like a double insult.
By the way, parking was complimentary as long as you self-parked on designated parking garage floors.
The next morning, I got a very nice call from Erica who works for the host company of the rental property.

Within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. Kitchen was well stocked, bed and couch were very comfortable. Parking on premises in the shade. would definitely stay here again

The apartment has everything needed for a great stay. Comfortable, nice light, and fast WiFi. The location is super convenient with easy self parking and a short walk into Coconut Grove for restaurants and stores and to Peacock Park and marina. Vincent is an excellent, warm and very responsive host who made sure I had everything I needed. Thoroughly recommended.

The property was as described. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We especially liked the well equipped kitchen for morning coffee and a quick breakfast. Vincent was very communicative and responsive.

The location is near everything, whether you are going to the marina or park or going out to eat and shop at CocoWalk. The description matches the place and we enjoyed our stay!
