This place is set in such a beautiful area of Antigua and the pictures don’t do it justice. Very secure neighborhood, views all around you (especially on the terrace), and extremely friendly staff. Estela is such a wonderful host that will greet you and make you feel right at home in this unique stay! Great walking distance to the city center and everything else you want to explore while you’re there.

This B&B is a great place to stay while visiting Antigua. It’s a small B&B, run by a kind woman named Estela who lives on premises. Estela speaks great English and is really helpful both with questions about traveling in Guatemala/Antigua and with anything related to your stay in the B&B. She’s very responsive – our toilet broke and she had it fixed within a half hour. There is always someone available if you have questions or need help. The room was nice and everything was clean. The house is in a nice, safe, quiet gated community. Walking to the center of Antigua takes about 15 minutes. There’s a kitchen, washer/dryer, and roof patio. The house is a beautiful Spanish-style mansion, the staff are helpful, and the rooms are clean. Definitely recommend staying here. If I come back to Antigua I’ll stay here again.

This place was absolutely beautiful and we will definitely come back if we are ever in Antigua again. Our room was one of a few in the building, and we felt incredibly safe as it’s located within a gated community where anyone who enters/exits must check in and out with security guards. We found it easy to walk or Uber everywhere we wanted to go and thought our room was very clean, spacious and cozy. We especially enjoyed talking with Estela who greeted us at the door when we arrived late on a Saturday night, and we enjoyed meeting Toffee the cat as well! Thanks so much!

This Airbnb is even more beautiful than the pictures. Simply unreal. I had an amazing stay. Estella was so amazing to us during our stay. She was always there to help us with our every need. Gave us amazing recommendations. The hotel was also located in a very safe and secured area which was a nice touch. We were able to walk around very easily.

Beautiful place unlike most other places we’ve stayed in the area. Absolutely gorgeous architecture, very private and secluded, cute and romantic. Would not hesitate to stay there again. A little pricey but as a special stay it was well worth it! Note there is no restaurant (but a kitchen you can use) so you have to walk into town if you want to get food)

Beautiful home and wonderful people. It’s in a gated community in Antigua. It’s a 15 or so minute walk to the town center.

Future guests should know two things upfront: that the caretaker, Estrela, is amazing – and that this hotel (which we didn’t actually have the name of) is in a gated community. As independent travelers, it was a little tiresome to have to deal with the gate process when we wanted to come and go. The place itself is charming. Clearly a historic property with lots of amazing details. Very quiet at night and an easy walk into town. However, work is still being done and that’s obvious. The kitchen wasn’t really available to us although we did put food in the fridge once. Beautiful views from the rooftop! We slept well (very comfy beds!) and the breakfast Estrela made on the last day before we left early was great ($10 each). She gave us privacy but was available for questions if we had any. Overall, I’d stay here again.
