Such a fun house to stay at. Close to Miami and the Keys. Homestead isn’t the best of cities stay in, but the house is secluded and it feels like you’re on your own island while at the house.

I recently had a beautiful stay at this location. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing, with stunning landscaping, an outdoor shower, and a breathtaking pond. However, there were a few issues that need addressing.
Upon arrival, I found that two bed frames were broken. Although the host promptly called a maintenance technician, the issue could not be resolved due to no missing screws. Unfortunately, the second bed collapsed on the right side, which was particularly disappointing given that the host was aware of this problem prior to my arrival but had not resolved it properly. This issue should have been fixed before my arrival, and I strongly recommend that the host replace both bed frames as this is a safety concern.
Additionally, the hot tub was not functioning, and the hot water pressure in the showers was very low.
Overall, I would highly recommend coming here. And checking out a local smoothie truck called Juice Brews . Delicious fresh smoothies and juices!

My wife and I drove down to Miami from Ohio and met our adult kids who flew in from Colorado. We all four greatly enjoyed staying at Caroline’s place. The pool was very nice and clean! The landscaping was amazing! Even though it is in the middle of a town, you think you are by yourself in the country. The location was very convenient to the Everglades, Keys, and Biscayne National Park so was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We loved this place! From the gate, to the brick driveway, to the pool, to the sheets that smelled wonderful, and the modernness yet more unique. It was a true relaxing oasis! The pool was amazing. Truly what we needed! Lizards were everywhere and that made it even better. Outdoor shower! Just perfect. Thanks again!

Positive:
I liked the location for what we were there for. I liked the yard landscaping, it was beautiful. The weather was too cold to use the pool while we were there. The house is very clean. The beds in the main house consist of two queen beds ( in two separate rooms) and the third bedroom in the main house has two single beds. The sheets are nice, the mattresses are nice and the pillows are fine.
Negative:
The kitchen is lacking some basic cooking utensils,(a colander, a proper cutting board, and knives to cut up vegetables and fruit). It needs a new coffee machine, the current one is a mini pot good for two cups and leaks when you pour. The Master bathroom needs hooks and/or a towel rack to hang towels, it currently has neither. The house is listed as The Garden Hot tub pool Oasis however there was no way to turn the hot tub on, after contacting the management company we got a clicker on our third night there out of four nights but the hot tub never got very warm and it took over an hour to heat up to its max of 102 degrees, disappointing. The fourth bedroom is in a separate building with no toilet so if someone stayed in the pool house they would have to walk to the house to use the toilet. It has an outside shower which is nice if it's warm but if it's cold it's of no use.

Stunning property, perfectly quiet (especially at night), immaculately clean and well-maintained. Very fresh, peaceful, serene.
Outdoor space is amazing and feels like an estate in the Hamptons.
Nice safe neighborhood, especially for Miami.

Positive:
The garden was awesome. It was nice to sit and relax surrounded by palm trees and all other green plants . The house was big enough for our group of five.
Negative:
The house is a little bit out of date and needs some wall painting and kitchen renovation.
The kitchen is not well equipped with cutlery and dishes. We like to cook basic meals but we didn't even have a bowl for salad.
The hot tub in the garden didn't work well. Only the first day the temperature was nice and hot, other days it was a problem with heating the water.

A beautiful spot! We chose this place so we could visit both the Everglades and Biscayne Bay National Parks. It was the perfect distant between them, and provided a relaxing refuge for the rest of the time. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous!

The house is in a lovely compound that is quiet, spacious and well manicured. The house itself is nice and the pictures are mostly representative of the space. We were comfortable.
-One of the queen beds is very high - that it needs the provided step stool to get up on (& I'm 5'7). There are normal height beds elsewhere, but if a child or elderly person needs to sleep in the bed, it wouldn't work.
-The washer didn't work. We were told it would be repaired during our stay and it wasn't. I hope it is for future stays as a washer is a critical search characteristic we select for.
-The biggest thing to note is that the kitchen is sparsely appointed. It has the absolute bare minimum to say it is appointe, but it really isn't to cook anything beyond cereal. For ex, no colander, no measuring cups, no serving bowls or other key items. The host was very responsive and did eventually get us some baking pans, but that wasnt enough to cook. My recommendation is the kitchen be stocked more.

The outdoor area is beautiful. The house itself was a bit sparse but we didn’t spend a lot of time there except to sleep. I’d stay there again.

Was peaceful setting, relaxing. Parking was interesting. We have mentioned the place and shown pictures to several people, we would rent it again if needed. It is so close to our daughter we could walk if we felt so inclined. If one has trouble with steps I would not recommend as there are no rails and no hand rails in shower.
All in all, a beautiful place and very well maintained.

This place is as described, an oasis. The garden and pool are gorgeous. I gave a couple of suggestions to the host to help the inside of the property match the exterior - then it will be a 5 + star.

This house was amazing. Staying here allowed for us to have many day trips. We traveled to the Everglades, 45 mins, Key Largo 45 mins and even to Key West, 3 hours. We spent several days in Homestead too exploring the town, attended Restoration Church, ate a local restaurant and enjoyed the movies at Showbiz theater. The pool was beautiful and the yard too. Seemed very private and even had a gate as we came and went. Caroline was very kind and helpful anytime we had a question.

The house great and the back yard with the pool amazing even more beautiful then pictures, Caroline was on line always, but the guest house was smell of dampness and mold with bacteria on the vent of the air flow , I mentioned to the owner that after couple nights there I start to cough from no where she declined and by the picture that I sent here she doesn’t see any thing , the fact that she live next door but didn’t come to check and didn’t believe to video and pictures was upset , I was worry about my self and my son so we didn’t sleep there all the vacation, the second fact that was upset it’s that she charge 350$ more then everyone around for cleaning like 150$ more the average house in the area , and then after you book the property she ask 150$ fee more for the pet , I was feel like I was paid twice, and the fact that she charge so much and there is coming one cleaning lady I never gonna believe that she pay here 350$ for cleaning, when you still can find under the sofa snacks

The Garden House was a great spot for our family and teens. After a day in the Florida sun, it was so nice to jump in the pool. The yard itself is amazing. So many lizards and even a huge toad. Huge kitchen for making meals and plenty of space for all.

WOW !!!! Amazing attention amazing place. Whole family from 2 years old to 90 years old enjoyed the house the gardens and mostly the pool. Catalina is a great host answered all my need and wants and questions in less then 30min

This place had a beautiful garden and pool. It was definitely a relaxing setting to spend a vacation at. If you are opting to not get the private chef, be prepared because the kitchen does not have many cooking supplies. The wifi kept cutting out for everyone in my family but we spent time playing the many games left in the house by the owners. Overall the home is very nice but there are a few things to consider before planning your vacation.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Homestead. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders toll war der große Pool im Garten. Alles war sehr liebevoll angelegt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder laut Urlaub machen.

What gorgeous outdoor space!! Even better than the photos and maintained beautifully. It was easy to enjoy the outdoors from inside as well, thanks to all the windows. Caroline was incredibly responsive in addressing our issues and she is a great communicator.

Wow, this place was great. We stayed with our three kids (all under 6 years) and we could walk to the lake as well as restaurants and cafés. There is even a little café/bagel spot/wine bar right down the street, which was quite convenient. The pool and outdoor area was also great. The kitchen was really well stocked, and it was a lovely space to come home to at the end of a hot day and cook a meal together. We plan on trying to come back here for our next visit. Also - check out the Orlando Science Center if you travel with youngsters, it was really amazing!

The house was cozy and very clean. The living room and dining room were perfect for a family. The kitchen was equipped with the items needed for making a meal. The bedrooms were comfortable. One of the bedrooms has an extremely high bed that is difficult to climb on. It needs steps so you can get up easily. The backyard is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. All of the doors in the house are glass, so are the windows and sliding glass doors. The sliding glass doors to the backyard do have curtains. The one bedroom has glass windows with no blinds or shades, only see thru curtains. It does not feel private.You can see into the house from all angles. There are only 2 bedrooms and one bathroom with blinds.
In the one bathroom there’s no privacy. You’re visible to the street while you shower. There’s a very nice and cozy cabana-like structure outside of the house which we did not use because it does not have a bathroom. Window coverings would make it perfec

Had an amazing stay over a big golf event up the road, and enjoyed the amenities offered. Out door shower was a great change of pace after a long day in the sun. Everything is a short distance from this location and is great to relax as well at the pool at night looking at the clear night sky.

Great home for a group trip! My girlfriends and I wanted to visit the Everglades and homestead was the perfect place to stay for day trips to the various sights in the park. The house is great itself for just hanging out, large living and dining space. The bedrooms were clean with plenty of linens. The pool was incredible (wished we had more time and better weather to enjoy it). We hope to be back again in the future!

We had a great time in this house. The backyard is huge and holds the greatest pool. Our kids loved it and did not want to leave. The location is very convenient to reach the Everglades. House is large, well furnished and very pleasant. One of our best stays ever. Pictures do depict the location accurately. Very much recommend staying here!

We had an amazing time this past weekend! We got a tropical storm during our stay and Caroline and Yvette were so quick to respond whenever we needed something or had a question. The house was clean, well kept, and the backyard is absolutely beautiful! The sun came out on our last couple of day and had some time to enjoy the pool.

This property is one of the best places I’ve stayed. The home is exactly like the pictures depict; the space is well lit with natural sunlight and the pool is stunning. Great hosts, any questions were answered within minutes and it was so nice to know the owners were next door if we needed anything. About 35-40 minutes from Miami airport and the drive is pretty easy going. Overall 5 stars!
