Caroline’s place suited our needs. It’s just a hotel room really but the hotel is fairly nice. There’s complimentary breakfast which was an added bonus. The room was just ok and the service wasn’t awesome, but it worked for us for a few nights. Check in is scheduled for 3PM but it was closer to 6PM by the time our room was ready. They also had a hard time locating the reservation since it was through AirBnB. The room only had two towels and we requested more. It was a bit of a process but we did eventually get them. I did also directly speak with housekeeping on one occasion about only taking the trash and recycling out but they didn’t. We ran out of toilet paper and when we went to the front desk to get more they gave us a half used open roll. Little things could’ve improved the experience a lot, but the people were nice.

West Orange is located at the peak of the Watchung Mountains. This vantage point over the valleys East to Manhattan. The wooded South Mountain Reservation has rocks shaped like the backs of large Turtles. The town is close to many other attractions and features colorful fall foliage, vibrant lush summers and picturesque white winters.
